San Franciscans deserve a city government that is effective and cost efficient.

A government that gets the job done right, on time, and within budget. MFAC works with the Mayor and city managers to improve the effectiveness, accountability, and excellence of city government. MFAC works to:

• Foster dialogue, and the open exchange of ideas and information between the business community and the City

• Enhance government's ability to apply cutting edge technology and management approaches to municipal operations

• Expand the awareness of “good government” improvements through the annual Public Managerial Excellence Awards

• Providing non-partisan, objective analysis of critical issues
